And David the king begot Solomon (of) the {\i one who had been wife} of Urias;Dand Solomon begot Roboam; and Roboam begot Abia; and Abia begot Asa;Hand Asa begot Josaphat; and Josaphat begot Joram; and Joram begot Ozias;Jand Ozias begot Joatham; and Joatham begot Achaz; and Achaz begot Ezekias;Kand Ezekias begot Manasses; and Manasses begot Amon; and Amon begot Josias;`and Josias begot Jechonias and his brethren, (at) {\i the time} of the carrying away of Babylon.cAnd (after) the carrying away of Babylon, Jechonias begot Salathiel; and Salathiel begot Zorobabel;Kand Zorobabel begot Abiud; and Abiud begot Eliakim; and Eliakim begot Azor;Cand Azor begot Sadoc; and Sadoc begot Achim; and Achim begot Eliud;Land Eliud begot Eleazar, and Eleazar begot Matthan; and Matthan begot Jacob;aand Jacob begot Joseph the husband of Mary, (of) whom Jesus Who was being called Christ was born. Therefore all the generations (from) Abraham (to) David {\i were} fourteen generations; and (from) David (until) the carrying away of Babylon, fourteen generations; and (from) the carrying away of Babylon (to) the Christ, fourteen generations.«Now the {\ul birth} of Jesus Christ {\ul was} thus. For {\i after} Mary his mother has been engaged to Joseph, (before) they came together she was found having (in) womb {\i a child} (of) {\i the} Holy Spirit. But Joseph her man, {\i because} he was being righteous, and was not willing to expose her publicly, purposed {\i that} she be put away secretly. And {\i after} he has pondered these things, behold, a messenger of the LORD appeared to him (in) a dream, saying, Joseph, a son of David, do not fear to take {\i to thyself} Mary your woman; for that which was begotten (in) her is (of) {\i the} Holy Spirit.yAnd she will bring forth a son, and thou will call His name Jesus; for He Himself will save His people (from) their sins.wNow this came all to pass, in order that which was spoken (by) the LORD (through) the prophet may be fulfilled, saying, behold, the virgin will have (in) womb {\i a child} and will bring forth a son, and they will call His name Emmanuel, which is being interpreted, God {\i is} (with) us.And {\i after} Joseph have been aroused (from) the sleep, he did as the messenger of the LORD ordered him; and he took to {\i himself} his woman, eand he was knowing her not until she brought forth her firstborn son; and he called his name Jesus.«Now {\i after} Jesus has been born (in) Bethlehem of Judaea, (in) {\i the} days of Herod the king, behold, {\ul magi arrived} (from) {\i the} east (at) Jerusalem, wsaying, where is the king who was born of the Jews? For we saw His star (in) the east, and we came to do homage to Him._But {\i after} {\ul Herod} the king heard, he {\ul was troubled, and all Jerusalem} (with) him;and {\i after} he gathered together all the chief priests and scribes of the people, {\ul he was inquiring} (of) them, where the Christ should be born.uAnd {\ul these ones} {\ul said} to him, (in) Bethlehem of Judaea. For thus it has been written (through) the prophet, and thou Bethlehem, land of Juda, thyself are in no wise least (among) the governors of Juda; for a leader will go forth (out of) thee, who will shepherd My people Israel. Then {\i after} {\ul Herod} has called secretly the magi, he {\ul inquired accurately} (of) them {\ul the time} of the star’s appearing;and {\i after} he has sent them (to) Bethlehem, he said, go, {\i and} inquire accurately (for) the little child; and when ye should find {\i Him}, bring word back to me, so that I myself also may come {\i and} may do homage to Him.«And {\ul those ones} who have heard the king, {\ul went away}; and behold, {\ul the star}, which they saw (in) the east, was going before them, (until) it came {\i and} {\ul stood} (over) where the Little Child was.YAnd {\i after} they have seen the star, {\ul they rejoiced} exceedingly (with) great joy;and {\i after} they have come (into) the house, {\ul they found the Little Child} (with) Mary His mother, {\ul and they} fell down {\i and} {\ul did homage to Him} and {\i after} they have opened their treasures {\ul they offered gifts} to Him, gold and frankincense and myrrh.{\ul And} {\i after} they have been divinely instructed (in) a dream to not return (to) Herod, {\ul they withdrew} (through) another way (into) their own country.«Now {\i after} they withdrew, behold, {\ul a messenger} of {\i the} LORD {\ul is appearing} (in) a dream to Joseph, saying, rise {\i and} take with {\i thee} the Little Child and His mother, and flee (into) Egypt, and keep being there (until) I will should tell thee; for Herod is being about to be seeking the Little Child to destroy Him.And {\ul that one} who has arisen {\ul took with} {\i Him} {\ul the Little Child} {\ul and His mother} by night, {\ul and withdrew} (into) Egypt,{\ul and he was there} (until) the death of Herod; in order that that which has been spoken (by) the LORD (through) the prophet may be fulfilled, saying, I called My Son (out of) Egypt.«Then {\ul Herod}, {\i after} he has seen that he was mocked (by) the magi, {\ul was enraged greatly, and he} sent {\i and} {\ul put to death all the boys} who {\i were} (in) Bethlehem and (in) all its borders, (from) two years old and under, (according to) the time which he accurately acquired (from) the magi.KThen that which was spoken (by) Jeremias the prophet was fulfilled, saying,a voice (in) Rama was heard, lamentation and weeping and great mourning, {\i which was} Rachel {\i who} was weeping for her children, and she was not willing to be comforted, because they are not.«But {\i after} Herod died, behold, {\ul a messenger} of {\i the} LORD {\ul is appearing} (in) a dream {\ul to Joseph} (in) Egypt, saying, rise {\i and} take with {\i thee} the Little Child and His mother, and keep going (into) the land of Israel, for the ones who were seeking the life of the Little Child have died.wAnd the one who has arisen took with {\i him} the little child and His mother, and came (into) {\i the} land of Israel. But {\i after} he heard that Archelaus is reigning (over) Judaea (instead of) Herod his father, {\ul he was afraid} to go there; and {\i after} he has been divinely instructed in a dream, {\ul he withdrew} (into) the parts of Galilee, and he came {\i and} dwelt (in) a city {\i which} was being called Nazareth; so that that which has been spoken (through) the prophets may be fulfilled, »He will be called a Nazarene.«gNow (in) those days {\ul John} the Dipper {\ul is arriving}, proclaiming (in) the wilderness of Judaea,Jand saying, keep repenting; for the kingdom of the heavens has drawn near. For this is the one who was spoken of (by) Esaias the prophet, saying, {\i this is} the voice of one crying (in) the wilderness, prepare the way of {\i the} LORD, keep making His paths straight.{\ul And John} himself {\ul was having his raiment} (from) camel’s hair, {\ul and a girdle} of leather (about) his loins; {\ul and his food} {\ul was locusts} {\ul and wild honey}.vThen {\ul Jerusalem}, {\ul and all Judaea}, {\ul and all the country around} the Jordan {\ul were going out} (to) him;s{\ul and were being dipped} (in) the Jordan (by) him, {\i because} they are confessing for themselves their sins.«But {\i after} he has seen many of the Pharisees and Sadducees {\i who} were coming (to) his dipping, {\ul he said} to them, offspring of vipers, who forewarned you to flee (from) the coming wrath?.Therefore produce worthy fruits of repentance:and do not think to be saying (with) yourselves, we are having the father Abraham; for I am saying to you, »God is being able to raise up children (from) these stones to Abraham.«But already also the ax has been applied (to) the root of the trees: therefore every tree {\i which} is not producing good fruit is being cut down and is being throw (into) {\i the} fire.I myself indeed am dipping you (with) water (to) repentance; but the One Who is coming (after) me is Mightier than I, of Whom I am not fit to bear the sandals: He Himself will dip you (with) {\i the} Holy Spirit.Of Whom the winnowing fan {\i is} (in) His hand, and He will thoroughly purge His floor, and will gather His wheat (into) the granary, but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.«cThen {\ul Jesus} {\ul is arriving} (from) Galilee (to) the Jordan (to) John, to be dipped (by) him.{\ul But John} {\ul was hindering Him}, saying, I myself am having need to be dipped (by) Thee, and are Thou Thyself coming (to) me?But Jesus answered {\i and} said (to) him, suffer {\i it} now; for thus it is becoming to us to fulfill all righteousness. Then {\ul he is allowing Him}.And {\i after} {\ul Jesus} has been dipped, He {\ul went up} immediately (from) the water, {\ul and behold, the heavens} {\ul were opened} to Him, {\ul and he saw the Spirit} of God {\i Who} was opened to Him, and was descending (as) a dove, and was coming (upon) Him.{\ul And behold}, {\ul a voice} (out of) the heavens, {\i which} is saying, this is My beloved Son, (in) Whom I took preference.«fThen {\ul Jesus} {\ul was led up} (into) the wilderness (by) the Spirit, to be tempted (by) the devil.WAnd {\i after} He has fasted forty days and forty nights, {\ul He hungered} afterwards.{\ul And the one} who was tempting came to Him {\i and} {\ul said}, if Thou are the Son of God, speak in order that these stones may become loaves.{\ul But that One} Who has answered {\ul said}, it has been written, man will not live (by) bread alone, but (by) every word {\i which} is going out (through) {\i the} mouth of God.}Then {\ul the devil} {\ul is taking Him} {\ul up} (to) the holy city, {\ul and is setting Him} (upon) the edge of the temple,{\ul and is saying} to Him, if Thou are the Son of God, throw Thyself down: for it has been written, »He will give charge to His messengers (concerning) Thee, and they will bear Thee (in) {\i their} hands, lest Thou should strike Thy foot (against) a stone.«j{\ul Jesus} {\ul was saying} to him, again it has been written, thou will not tempt {\i the} LORD thy God.Again {\ul the devil} {\ul is taking Him} {\ul up} (to) an exceedingly high mountain, {\ul and is showing all the kingdoms} of the world {\ul and their glory} to Him,o{\ul and is saying} to Him, I will give all these things to Thee, if Thou should fall down {\i and} worship me.Then {\ul Jesus} {\ul is saying} to him, keep going away (behind) Me, Satan; for it has been written, thou will worship {\i the} LORD thy God, and thou will serve Him alone.qThen {\ul the devil} {\ul is leaving Him}; {\ul and behold, messengers} {\ul came and were ministering to Him}.«bBut {\i after} {\ul Jesus} has heard that John was delivered up, He {\ul withdrew} (into) Galilee. And {\i after} He has left Nazareth, {\ul He} came {\i and} {\ul dwelt} (at) Capernaum, which {\i was} on the seaside, (in) {\i the} borders of Zabulon and Nephthalim,Zin order that that which has been spoken (by) Esaias the prophet may be fulfilled, saying, gland of Zabulon and land of Nephthalim, way of {\i the} sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the nations, the people who were sitting (in) darkness saw a great light, and a light sprung up to the ones who were sitting (in) {\i the} country and shadow of death.(From) that time {\ul Jesus} {\ul began} to be proclaiming and to be saying, keep repenting; for the kingdom of the heavens has drawn near.«And {\i while} He was walking (by) the sea of Galilee {\ul He saw the two brothers}, Simon who was being called Peter, and Andrew his brother, {\i who} were throwing a large net (into) the sea; for they were fishers.T{\ul and He is saying} to them, come (after) Me, and I will make you fishers of men.K{\ul And these ones} who immediately have left the nets {\ul followed Him}.And {\i after} He has gone on thence, {\ul He saw two other brothers}, James the {\i son} of Zebedee, and John his brother, (in) the ship (with) Zebedee their father, who were mending their nets, {\ul and He called them}.^{\ul And these ones} who immediately have left the ship and their father {\ul followed Him}.«{\ul And Jesus} {\ul was going about} all Galilee, teaching (in) their assemblies, and proclaiming the glad tidings of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every bodily weakness (among) the people.{\ul And} His {\ul fame} {\ul went out} (into) all Syria; {\ul and they brought} to Him {\ul all the ones} who were having ill by various diseases and were oppressing by torments, and were being possessed by demons, and were being lunatics, and {\i were} paralytics; {\ul and He healed them}.w{\ul And great crowds} {\ul followed Him} (from) Galilee and Decapolis and Jerusalem and Judea and beyond the Jordan.«But {\i after} He has seen the crowds, {\ul He went up} (into) the mountain; {\ul and} {\i after} He has sat down, {\ul His disciples} {\ul came to Him}.N{\ul And He} was opening His mouth {\i and} {\ul was teaching them}, saying,«Xthe poor {\i ones} in spirit {\i are} blessed; for the kingdom of the heavens is theirs.RThe ones who are mourning {\i are} blessed; for they themselves will be comforted.KThe meek {\i ones are} blessed; for they themselves will inherit the earth.rThe ones who are hungering and thirsting after righteousness {\i are} blessed; for they themselves will be filled.HThe merciful {\i ones are} blessed; for they themselves will find mercy.OThe pure {\i ones} in heart {\i are} blessed; for they themselves will see God.VThe peacemaking {\i ones are} blessed; for they themselves will be called sons of God.{The ones who have been persecuted (on account of) righteousness {\i are} blessed; for the kingdom of the heavens is theirs.Ye are blessed whenever they should reproach you and should persecute, and should say every wicked word (against) you lying, (on account of) Me.Keep on rejoicing and exulting, for your reward {\i is} great (in) the heavens; for thus they persecuted the prophets who {\i were} (before) you.«Ye yourselves are the salt of the earth: but if the salt should become tasteless, (with) what will it be salted? It is being good (for) nothing any longer, but to be throw out, and to be being trampled upon (by) men.zYe yourselves are the light of the world; a city {\i which} is being situated (on) a mountain is not being able to be hid;nor they are lighting a lamp and are putting it (under) the corn measure, but (upon) the lampstand, and it is shining for all the ones who {\i are} (in) the house. Thus let your light shine (before) men, so that they may see of you the good works, and may glorify your Father Who {\i is} (in) the heavens.«cDo not think that I came to abolish the law or the prophets: I came not to abolish, but to fulfill. For verily I am saying to you, until the heaven and the earth will pass away, one iota or tittle shall in no wise pass away (from) the law, until all should come to pass. Therefore whosoever should break one of these least commandments, and should teach men so, he will be called least (in) the kingdom of the heavens; but whosoever should practice and should teach {\i them}, this {\i one} will be called great (in) the kingdom of the heavens. For I am saying to you, »Unless your righteousness should abound (above) {\i the righteousness} of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no wise enter (into) the kingdom of the heavens.«Ye heard that it was said to the ancients, thou will not commit murder, but whoever should commit murder, he will be liable to the judgment. But I Myself am saying to you, »Everyone who is being angry with his brother lightly will be liable to the judgment: but whoever should say to his brother, fool, he will be liable to the Sanhedrim: but whoever should say, stupid, he will be liable (to) the Gehenna of fire.«Therefore if thou should be offering thy gift (at) the altar, and there thou should remember that thy brother is having something (against) thee, leave there thy gift (before) the altar, and keep going away, be first reconciled to thy brother, and then keep coming {\i and} keep offering thy gift.Keep being agreeing with thy adverse party quickly, (until) while thou are (in) the way (with) him, lest the adverse party should deliver thee to the judge, and that judge should deliver thee to the officer, and thou will be throw (into) prison.nVerily I am saying to thee, thou shall in no wise come out thence, until thou should pay the last kodrantes.«9Ye heard that it was said, thou will not commit adultery:but I Myself am saying to you, »Everyone who was looking upon a woman (to) lust after her, already committed adultery with her (in) his heart.«But if thy right eye is causing to offend thee, pluck it out and throw {\i it} (from) thee: for it is being profitable for thee in order that one of thy members may perish, and thy body may not be throw whole (into) Gehenna. And if thy right hand is causing to offend thee, cut it off and throw {\i it} (from) thee: for it is being profitable for thee in order that one of thy members may perish, and thy body may not be throw whole (into) Gehenna.aAlso it was said, »Whoever should put away his woman, let him give to her a letter of divorce.«But I Myself am saying to you, »Whoever should put away his woman, except of {\i this} word fornication, is causing her to be committing adultery, and whoever should marry {\i her who} has been put away is committing adultery.«{Again, ye heard, that it was said to the ancients, thou will not break an oath, but thou will render to the LORD thy oaths;obut I Myself am saying to you swear not at all, neither (by) the heavens, because it is {\i the} throne of God;nor (by) the earth, because it is {\i the} footstool of His feet: nor (by) Jerusalem, because it is {\i the} city of the great King;dneither do not swear (by) thy head, because thou are not being able to make one hair white or black.dBut keep letting your word be, yea yea, nay nay: but which {\i is} more than these is (from) evil.«@Ye heard that it was said, eye (for) eye, and tooth (for) tooth;but I Myself am saying to you resist not evil; but whosoever will strike thee (on) thy right cheek, turn to him also the other;nand to the one who was willing to go to law with thee and to take thy tunic, yield to him also {\i thy} cloak;Iand whosoever will compel thee to go one mile, keep going (with) him two.uKeep giving to the one who is asking of thee; and turn not away from the one who was wishing to borrow (from) thee.«OYe heard that it was said, thou will love thy neighbor and will hate thy enemy;but I Myself am saying to you, keep loving your enemies, keep blessing the ones who are cursing you, and keep praying (for) the ones who are despitefully using you and are persecuting you; keep doing well to the ones who are hating you,so that ye may be sons of your Father Who {\i is} (in) the heavens: »He is causing His sun to rise (on) {\i the} evil and good, and is sending rain (on) {\i the} just and unjust. For if ye should love the ones who were loving you, what reward are ye having? Are not also the tax gatherers doing the same? Yes!yAnd if ye should salute your friends only, what extraordinary are ye doing? Are not also the tax gatherers doing so? Yes!gTherefore ye yourselves will be perfect, even as your Father Who {\i is} (in) the heavens is perfect.«Keep taking heed {\i that} your alms are not performing (before) men, (to) be seen by them: otherwise ye are not having a reward (with) your Father Who {\i is} (in) the heavens. Therefore whenever thou should be doing alms, do not sound a trumpet (before) thee, as the pretenders are doing (in) the assemblies and (in) the streets, so that they may have glory (from) men; verily I am saying to you, they are having their reward.\But {\i while} thou are doing alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand is doing,|so that thy alms might be (in) secret: and thy Father Who is seeing (in) secret Himself will render to thee (in) the open.«And whenever thou should be praying, thou will not be as the pretenders {\i are doing}, for they are loving to be praying having had stood (in) the assemblies and (in) the corners of the streets, so that they may possibility appear to men; verily I am saying to you, »They are having their reward.«But thou, whenever thou should be praying, enter (into) thy chamber, and {\i after} thou have shut thy door, pray to thy Father Who {\i was} (in) secret; and thy Father Who was seeing (in) secret will render to thee (in) the open. But {\i while} ye were praying do not use vain repetitions, as the heathens {\i are doing}: for they are thinking that they will be heard (in) their much speaking.qTherefore be not like unto them: for your Father knows of what things ye are having need (before) ye asked Him.«lTherefore keep praying yourselves thus: our Father Who {\i is} (in) the heavens, let Thy name be sanctified;Plet Thy kingdom come; let Thy will be done as (in) heaven, and (upon) the earth;"give to us today our needed bread;Land forgive to us our debts, as also we ourselves are forgiving our debtors;and do not lead us (into) temptation, but deliver us (from) the evil one. For the kingdom and the power and the glory is Thine (to) the ages. Amen.qFor if ye should forgive to men their offences, your Heavenly Father will also forgive {\i your offences} to you;qbut if ye should not forgive to men their offences, neither your Father will forgive your offences {\i to you}.«And whenever ye should be fasting, stop being as the pretenders {\i are} downthrow in countenance; for they are disfiguring their faces, so that they may appear {\i as} fasting to men; verily I am saying to you, »they are having their reward.«KBut thou, {\i while} thou were fasting, anoint thy head, and wash thy face;so that thou may not appear {\i as} fasting to men, but to your Father Who {\i is} (in) secret; and your Father Who will be seeing (in) secret will render to you.«Stop treasuring up for yourselves treasures (upon) the earth, where moth and rust is spoiling, and where thieves are digging through and are stealing:but keep treasuring for yourselves treasures (in) heaven, where neither moth nor rust is spoiling, and where thieves are not digging through nor are stealing.:For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.gThe lamp of the body is the eye: therefore if thine eye should be single, thy whole body will be light;but if thine eye should be evil, thy whole body will be dark. Therefore if the light which {\i is} (in) thee is darkness, how great {\i is} that darkness? No one is being able to be serving two Lords; for either he will hate the one, and will love the other; or he will hold to {\i the} one, and will despise the other. Ye are being not able to be serving God and mammon.«(Because of) this I am saying to you, stop being careful as to your life, what ye should eat and what ye should drink; nor as to your body, what ye should put on. Is not the life more than the food and the body than the raiment? Yes!Look (at) the birds of the heaven, that they are not sowing, nor are reaping, nor are gathering (into) granaries, and your heavenly Father is feeding them: are ye yourselves not much better than they? Yes!SBut who (out of) you being careful is being able to add (to) his stature one cubit? And why are ye being careful (about) raiment? Observe the lilies of the field, how they are growing: they are not laboring nor are spinning;lbut I am saying to you, »not even Solomon (in) all his glory was clothed as one of these {\i is clothed}.«But if God is thus arraying the grass of the field, {\i which} is today and is being throw tomorrow (into) an oven, {\i will} He not {\i clothe} much rather you, O {\i ye} of little faith? Yes!qTherefore do not be careful, saying, what shall we eat, or what shall we drink, or with what shall we be clothed? For the nations are seeking after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that ye are having need of all these things;kbut keep seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Therefore be not careful (for) the morrow: for the morrow will be careful about the {\i things} of itself: the evil of it {\i is} sufficient to the day.«,Stop judging, in order ye may not be judged:for (with) what judgment ye are judging, ye will be judged; and (with) what measure ye are measuring, it will be measured to you.But why are thou looking on the mote which {\i is} (in) the eye of your brother, but are thou perceiving not the beam (in) your {\i own} eye? Yes!Or how will thou say to thy brother, suffer {\i so that} I may throw out the mote (from) thine eye: and behold, the beam {\i is} (in) thine {\i own} eye?Pretender, throw out first the beam (out of) thine {\i own} eye, and then thou will see clearly to throw out the mote (out of) the eye of thy brother.Give not the {\i thing} which {\i is} holy to the dogs; nor throw your pearls (before) the swine, lest they should trample upon them (with) their feet, and should have turned again {\i and} should rend you.«vKeep asking, and it will be given to you; keep seeking, and ye will find; keep knocking, and it will be opened to you.For everyone who is asking is receiving, and the one who is seeking is finding, and it will be opened to the one who is knocking.dOr what man is there (among) you, whom if his son should ask bread, will he give to him a stone? No!?And if he should ask a fish, will he give to him a serpent? No!Therefore if ye yourselves {\i who} are being evil know {\i how} to be giving good gifts to your children, how much more your Father Who {\i is} (in) the heavens will give good things to the ones who are asking Him?«Therefore if ye should be desiring all whatever things in order that the men might be doing to you, so also yourselves keep doing to them: for this is the law and the prophets.Enter in (through) the narrow gate; for the gate {\i is} wide and the way which is leading (to) destruction {\i is} broad, and there are many who are entering (through) it:how the gate {\i which} is narrow and the way which is leading (to) life {\i is} straight, and there are few who are finding it.«But keep giving heed (of) the false prophets, who are coming (to) you (in) raiment of sheep, but within they are rapacious wolves.uYe will know them (by) their fruits; are they gathering a bunch of grapes (from) thorns, or figs (from) thistles? No!ZSo every good tree is producing good fruits; but the corrupt tree is producing bad fruits.wA good tree is not being able to be producing evil fruits, nor a corrupt tree {\i is able} to be producing good fruits.cEvery tree {\i which} is not producing good fruit is being cut down and is being throw (into) fire.8Then surely ye will know them fully (by) their fruits.«Not everyone who is saying to Me, LORD, LORD, will enter (into) the kingdom of the heavens; but the one who is doing the will of My Father Who {\i is} (in) {\i the} heavens {\i will enter}.Many will say to Me (in) that day, Lord, Lord, prophesied we not by Thy name and throwed out demons by Thy name, and performed many works of power by Thy name? Yes!vAnd then I will confess to them, »I never knew you: keep departing (from) Me, the ones who are working lawlessness.«Therefore everyone whosoever is hearing these words of mine, and is doing them, I will liken him to a prudent man, who built his house (upon) the rock:and the rain came down, and the streams came, and the winds blew, and fell upon that house, and it fell not, for it had been founded (upon) that rock. And everyone who is hearing these words of mine and is not doing them, will be likened to a foolish man, who built his house (upon) the sand:and the rain came down, and the streams came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, and it fell, and the fall of it was great.nAnd {\ul it came to pass} when Jesus finished these words the crowds were being astonished (at) His teachings:Yfor He was teaching them as having authority, and not as the scribes {\i are teaching}.«[And {\i after} He has come down (from) the mountain, great {\ul crowds} {\ul followed Him};and {\ul behold, a leper} was coming down {\i and} {\ul was worshipping Him}, saying, LORD, if Thou should be willing, Thou are being able to cleanse me.And {\ul Jesus} stretched out {\i His} hand {\i and} {\ul touched him}, saying, I am willing, be cleansed. And immediately his {\ul leprosy} {\ul was cleansed}.And {\ul Jesus} {\ul is saying} to him, keep seeing do not tell anyone; but keep going, show thyself to the priest, and offer the gift which Moses ordered (for) a testimony to them.«bAnd {\i after} He has entered (into) Capernaum, {\ul a centurion} {\ul came to Him} beseeching Himqand saying, LORD, my servant has laid (in) the house of paralytic, {\i because} he has been grievously tormented.RAnd {\ul Jesus} {\ul is saying} to him, I Myself will come {\i and} will heal him.And the {\ul centurion} was answering {\i and} {\ul was saying}, LORD, I am not worthy in order that thou may come (under) my roof, but only speak a word, and my servant will be healed. For also I myself am a man (under) authority, having soldiers (under) myself; and I am saying to this {\i one}, go, and he is going; and to another, keep coming and he is coming, and to my bondman, do this, and he is doing. And {\i after} {\ul Jesus} has heard {\i it}, He {\ul wondered, and said} to the ones {\i who} were following, verily I am saying to you, I found not so great faith, not even (in) Israel. But I am saying to you, »Many (from) {\i the} east and {\i the} west will come, and will recline {\i at table} (with) Abraham and Isaac and Jacob (in) the kingdom of the heavens;but the sons of the kingdom will be throw out (into) the outer darkness: the weeping and the gnashing of the teeth will be there.«And {\ul Jesus} {\ul said} to the centurion, keep going, and as thou believed let it be to thee. {\ul And his servant} {\ul was healed} (in) that hour.«And {\i after} {\ul Jesus} has come (to) Peter’s house, He {\ul saw his mother–in–law} {\i who} had been laid, and was being in a fever,}{\ul and He touched her hand}, {\ul and the fever} {\ul left her}, {\ul and she was arisen and was ministering} {\ul to Him}.And {\i after} evening has come, {\ul they brought to Him} {\ul many} {\i who} were being possessed with demons, and {\ul He throwed out the spirits} by a word, and {\ul He healed all} who were being ill:so that which has been spoken (by) Esaias the prophet may be fulfilled, saying, He Himself took our infirmities, and bore the diseases.«|And {\i after} {\ul Jesus} has seen great crowds (around) Him, He {\ul commanded} {\i that they} depart (to) the other side.|{\ul And one scribe} came to {\i Him and} {\ul said} to Him, Teacher, I will follow Thee whithersoever Thou should be going. And {\ul Jesus} {\ul is saying} to him, the foxes are having holes, and the birds of the heaven {\i are having} nests, but the Son of man is having not {\i a place} where He might be laying {\i His} head.dAnd {\ul another} of His disciples {\ul said} to Him, LORD, allow me first to go and bury my father.bBut {\ul Jesus} {\ul said} to him, keep following Me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead.«VAnd {\i after} He has entered (into) the ship, His {\ul disciples} {\ul followed Him}.{\ul And} behold, a great {\ul tempest} {\ul arose} (in) the sea, so that the ship was being covered (by) the waves; but {\ul He} {\ul Himself was sleeping}.fAnd the {\ul disciples} came to {\i Him and} {\ul awoke Him}, saying, LORD, save us, we are perishing. And {\ul He is saying} to them, why are ye fearful, O of little faith? Then, {\ul He} has arisen {\i and} {\ul rebuked the winds} {\ul and the sea}, and {\ul there was} a great calm.{And the {\ul men} {\ul wondered}, saying, what kind {\i of man} is this, that even the winds and the sea are obeying Him?«And {\i after} He has come (to) the other side (to) the country of the Gergesenes, {\ul two} {\i who} were being possessed by demons {\ul met Him} {\i while} they were coming (out of) the tombs, very violent, so that they were not availing any one to pass (by) that way;{\ul and} behold, {\ul they cried out}, saying, what {\i are thou} to us and {\i we} to you, Jesus, Son of God? Came thou here to torment us (before) {\i the} time?GNow a {\ul herd} of many swine {\ul was} feeding a far off (from) them. And the {\ul demons} {\ul were beseeching Him}, saying if thou are throwing us out, allow us to go away (into) the herd of swine. And {\ul He said} to them, keep going. And {\ul the ones} who have gone out {\ul went away} (into) the herd of the swine: and {\ul behold}, all the {\ul herd} of the swine {\ul rushed} (down) the steep (into) the sea, and {\ul died} (in) the waters. But {\ul the ones} {\i who} were feeding {\i them} {\ul fled}, and {\i after} they have come (into) the city, {\ul they related everything}, {\ul and the} {\i events} concerning the ones who were being possessed by demons. And {\ul behold, all the city} {\ul went out} (to) meet Jesus; and {\i after} they have seen Him, {\ul they besought} {\i Him} so that He may depart (from) their borders.«[And {\ul He} entered (into) the ship {\i and} {\ul passed over and came} (to) His own city. And {\ul behold, they were bringing} to Him {\ul a paralytic} {\i who} had been lying (on) a bed; {\ul and Jesus} saw their faith {\i and} {\ul said} to the paralytic, keep being of good courage, child, thy sins have been forgiven to thee._And {\ul behold, some} of the scribes {\ul said} (in) themselves, this {\i man} is blaspheming. And {\i after} {\ul Jesus} has perceived their thoughts, He {\ul said}, why for what reason are ye yourselves thinking evil (in) your hearts?bFor which is easier, to say, {\i thy} sins have been forgiven; or to say, arise! and keep walking? But in order that ye may know that the Son of man is having authority (on) the earth to be forgiving sins: then {\ul He is saying} to the paralytic, arise! {\i and} take up thy bed, and keep going (to) thy house/and he arose {\i and} went away (to) his house. And {\i after} the {\ul crowds} have seen {\i it} they {\ul wondered, and glorified God}, Who has given such authority to men.«And {\i after} {\ul Jesus} was passing thence, He {\ul saw a man} {\i who} was sitting (at) the tax–office, {\i who} was being called Matthew, and {\ul He is saying} to him, keep following Me. And {\ul he} arose {\i and} {\ul followed Him}.{\ul And it came to pass} {\i while} He was reclining {\i at the table} (in) the house, {\ul and behold}, {\ul many tax–gatherers} {\ul and sinners} were coming {\i and} {\ul were reclining} {\i at the table} with Jesus and His disciples. And {\i after} the {\ul Pharisees} have seen {\i it} they {\ul said} to His disciples, why is your teacher eating (with) the tax–gatherers and sinners? But {\i after} {\ul Jesus} has heard {\i this} He {\ul said} to them, the ones {\i who} are being strong are not having need of a physician, but the ones {\i who} are being ill.But go {\i and} learn what it is, I am desiring mercy, and not sacrifice: for I came not to call the righteous {\i ones}, but sinners (to) repentance.«Then the {\ul disciples} of John {\ul are coming near to Him}, saying, why are we and the Pharisees fasting much, but Thy disciples are not fasting? And {\ul Jesus} {\ul said} to them, are the sons of the bridegroom being able to be mourning while the bridegroom is (with) them? No! But {\i the} days will come when the bridegroom should be taken away (from) them, and then they will fast. But no one is putting a piece of unfulled cloth (on) an old garment: for its fullness is taking away (from) the garment, and a rent is taking place worse.Nor are they putting new wine (into) old skins, otherwise, the skins are being burst, and the wine is being poured out, and the skins will be destroyed; but they are putting new wine (into) new skins, and both are being preserved together.«{\i While} He was speaking these things to them, {\ul behold, a ruler} came {\i and} {\ul was worshipping Him}, saying, »my daughter just now died; but come {\i and} lay Thy hand (upon) her, and she will live.«WAnd {\ul Jesus} arose {\i and} {\ul followed him}, and his disciples {\i did likewise}.And {\ul behold, a woman} {\i who} is having a flux of blood {\i since} twelve years, came {\i and} {\ul touched the border} of His garment.XFor she was saying (within) herself, if I should only touch His garment I will be cured. But {\i after} {\ul Jesus} has turned and has seen her He {\ul said}, keep being of good courage, daughter; thy faith has cured thee. {\ul And that woman} {\ul was cured} (from) that hour. And {\i after} {\ul Jesus} came (into) the house of the ruler, and saw the flute–players and the crowd {\i who} is making an uproar,He {\ul is saying} to them, keep withdrawing, for the damsel died not, but she is sleeping. And {\ul they were laughing at Him}.But when the crowd was put forth, {\ul He} entered {\i and} {\ul took hold of her hand}, {\ul and the damsel} {\ul was arisen}.
